• Electronic Visualization Laboratory  is a state of the art research facility for computer graphics and interactive technology. EVL works on a variety of cutting-edge problems: virtual reality; multimedia; scientific visualization; new methodologies for informal science and engineering education; paradigms for information display; televisualization (distributed graphics over networks); algorithm optimization for massively parallel computing; sonification; abstract mathematical visualization; and, autostereo 3D presentation graphics.
  
  
• Exploratorium  Housed within the walls of the Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium is a collage of 650 interactive exhibits in the areas of science, art, and human perception.
