Adobe Announces MAX 2007 Events

Registration Now Open for the Premier Event
for Developers and Web Designers

SAN JOSE, Calif. — June 20, 2007 — Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq:ADBE) today announced the MAX 2007 event series, the industry’s premier forum for those interested in enhancing their skills in designing, developing and delivering rich, engaging experiences on the Web, the desktop or mobile devices. The event series kicks off in North America, Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 at McCormick Place West in Chicago, with follow-on events planned for Barcelona, Spain, Oct. 15 to 18, and Tokyo, Japan, Nov. 1 to 2. Adobe also launched a call for entries for the 2007 MAX Awards. Now in its fifth year, the MAX Awards recognize the most groundbreaking work of leading designers and developers from around the world.

Themed “Connect. Discover. Inspire.” this year’s MAX will connect attendees with top industry experts, provide opportunities to discover the latest techniques and cutting-edge technologies, and spark inspiration to create rich, engaging experiences.

“MAX has a mix of energy, ideas and attendee expertise that is totally unique in the software industry,” said Kevin Lynch, senior vice president and chief software architect for Adobe. “MAX brings together the Adobe community, creating an environment for designers and developers to discover new technologies, delivery channels, business opportunities and immerse themselves in an incredibly inspiring group of peers.”

MAX North America will feature keynotes from Adobe executives, more than 200 technical sessions, partner exhibits, executive and partner forums, a “sneak-peek” emerging technology session, birds-of-a-feather networking events, presentations from industry experts and a full day of hands-on workshops. Content tracks include: Rich Internet Applications; Web Site Application Development; Enterprise and Collaboration; Web, Video and Interactive Design; and Design Across Media.

MAX sessions and interactive workshops will encourage attendees to stretch their creative limits through a wide range of topics, including: the latest techniques in Web site prototyping, user interface design, online advertising, interactive games, accessibility, motion graphics and video encoding; current design trends that require combining media such as video, animation, sound and text to engage audiences and enhance a brand; powering public-facing sites, driving intranets and creating engines for the next generation of RIAs; and making key business processes more engaging and effective by learning to deploy RIAs and electronic documents.

“MAX offers an open exchange of ideas and the opportunity to be part of a broader ecosystem,” added Lynch. “We’re facilitating an open dialogue that addresses the widest range of technologies used by designers and developers to improve user experiences in every medium.”
